    • It is a form of UPAS L/C, UPAS collection, in which the customer commits to pay BIDV on the due date, the value of the collection documents in VND according to the exchange rate prescribed by BIDV.

ꦦFlexible and competitive collateral: Guaranteed by debt collection authority according to the original L/C

    • BIDV issues L/C or lends to pay L/C (back-to-back L/C) on the basis of guarantee by debt collection rights of another L/C (original L/C)
  • Issuing L/C with the condition that the collateral is in diverse forms (original L/C and other forms according to BIDV's current regulations); 
  • Using the payment source as the debt collection right from the original L/C to pay for the back-to-back L/C; 
  • Customers can take advantage of the payment time difference between original L/C and back-to-back L/C to increase deposit benefits from the original L/C payment source.

    • BIDV issues a deferred import letter of credit with a clause allowing the beneficiary to demand immediate payment (UPAS at sight) or payment on a specific date before the due date of the draft/set of documents (deferred UPAS LC)
